Bhairav Kunda trek is the trek to the one of the famous lakes in Nepal. Bhairav Kunda is named after his destructive aspect of Lord Shiva and is one of the sacred pilgrimage sites. Both Hindus and Buddhists devotees have some religious beliefs and they find the place religiously important. They visit this high altitude (4150m) holy mountain lake to pay homage and bathe away sins during every August ( full moon) . The trek is adventurous camping trek to the untouched area of the Langtang region. You will get to experience the picturesque ranges of Himalayas. The trek follows with the untouched traditional villages, spectacular Himalayan landscapes, Buddhist Villages, past shortens and Sherpa houses. You will get to explore the amazing culture and traditions of the locals as well as when you reach to the Bhairav Kunda (the lake) you will be totally amazed by the traditions and cultural beliefs that people have there.

Along the trekking trail you will be offered the spectacular and breathtaking views of mountains in Tibet and the Jugal Himal section of the Himalayan range, which includes the peaks of Dorje Lakpa (6866m), Madiya (6257m) and Phurbi Ghhyachu (6637m). The trail leads through not only beautiful peaks but also green lush forests as well as several ethnic villages. While trekking you will get chance to be closer to the ethnic folks and study their cultures and traditions which are really amusing and extra ordinary. The trek is possible throughout the year but it will be better to avoid in monsoon as at those times the trial will be kind of risky. Hence the best time is spring and autumn.
