This trek is done by turning off the Langtang trek from Thulo  Syabru and it is an outstanding selection as a return route to Kathmandu from the Langtang trek. Tea houses in Thulo syabru, Sing Gompa and Tharepati are good but Phedi and Ghote are quite basic. The major core attraction during the trek is Gosaikunda Lake (4380m). Gosaikunda is a place for a Hindu pilgrimage every August when hundreds of Shadhus treks to these holiest lakes. The trek is also famous for its exploration of wide range of Floras and Faunas as it passes through the Langtang National park which is one of the popular and well known national park of Nepal. The trek gives you chance to witness the live vision of amazing views of Himalayas like Ganesh Himal and others. It also gives opportunity to explore the culture and traditions of regional people specially the Tamangs of Langtang region. So overall the trek is one of the unique trails to carry on and it will leave you to the best memories of trek one can ever have.

The trek offers you the spectacular views of Himalayas like Ganesh Himal, Hunchuli etc.The trail is followed by the un spoilt dense pine and Rhododendron forests where you may also spot some rare wildlife. The major attraction of Gosaikunda trek is it also includes Kyanjin Gompa which is famous for the ancient monastery, cheese factory and glaciers thus the trek is wrathful due to this reason too. Walking along the Langtang Goisaikunda trail we will be witnessing different beautiful Tamang Villages where you will be welcomed by the Tamang people, as their religious practices, cutures, traditions and dress are similar to Tibet. We can explore the new concept and religious view during the trek. The trekking trail passes through the lush forests of pines, Bamboo, Rhododendrons ascending through beautiful Yak pastures to arrive at the alpine meadows of Kyanjin Gompa. The animals common to the forest that follows are Yellow throated martens, Himalayan Black bear, wild boar, gray languor monkey, Ghorel, snow leopard and so on.
